In this episode I’m joined by Ben Pales to discuss the book Atomic Habits written by James Clear.


Atomic Habits outlines the impact of an individuals habits, that our habits are the compound interest of personal development. That small steps daily make great changes over time and continue to build upon themselves.

Every habit contains 4 primary steps:

The Cue, the craving, the response and the reward. James goes through each of these phases in detail teaches us how to manipulate these for positive habits.

There are also 4 Laws of Behavior Change

1 Make It Obvious

2 Make It Attractive

3 Make It Easy

4 Make It Satisfying

After reading Atomic Habits I found myself making changes to my environment and finding a new level of excellence in my work.

  1. Can I simply say what a relief to uncover somebody that truly understands what they are discussing over the internet. You certainly know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. A lot more people must look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you are not more popular given that you most certainly have the gift.
