I’ve spent the last 10 years working jobs in an arena of healthcare I didn’t know existed when I was going to nursing school or working as a floor nurse. Yet once I landed in this side of healthcare I made far more money, have earned a near $10,000 raise every couple years, worked better hours, enjoyed geography freedom, paid holidays and time off. I spent 7 years working remotely and have enjoyed several great jobs.
With technology getting to the place of true impact on patient care we need nurses to help design, monitor and teach. We need knowledgable healthcare professionals to help redesign healthcare models to reduce readmissions from a variety of angles and patient settings.
