Family Time and Nature

I couldn't be happier than when I get to spend quality time with quality people. As you know from many of my previous posts the thing that brings me the most joy in life is spending time with my family. We went home for the Labor Day weekend and had a weekend full of fun, family activities. We went on a short hike to a waterfall with all the kiddos, we rented the city pool and went swimming late into the evening. The next day we had a potluck with extended family, followed by a trip up the mountain with the fellas. We ended up on what seemed like the top of the world.

If you're familiar with Cedar Breaks in southern Utah you know how amazing that mountain range is. We didn't go to Cedar breaks, we were actually to the south west but the pic represents a little piece of the beauty. Go over to my Instagram account to see a few more. It was amazing to watch the sun go down when we could see for miles over the mountains and valleys. It's a cereal experience to feel like you're on top of the world and then see how tiny a dot you really are compared to the universe. I'm grateful I was able to stand there and watch with people I love.
